DATE FOR YOUR DIARY Thursday 12th September 2024 - Individual Photographs will be taking place in school. All pupils to arrive to school in full school uniform please (including jumpers). Years 5 & 6 - This is your PE day, but we ask that you bring your PE kit to change into please!

Wraparound letter - Year 5 Parents, once the Reach More Parents App is live, you will be able to make payments - if you would like to register your interest in the first instance, please email wraparound@stmaryscemiddle.uk

YEAR 8 Parents, a letter went home via the RMP app earlier this week regarding the Coastal trip to Swanage This will take place, (one tutor per day) week commencing Monday 16th - Thursday 19th September. A payment is required please on the app, so do take a look as to when each tutor is going

Wessex Schools Music Ensembles Does your child play an instrument or enjoy singing? Join a Wessex Schools Music Ensemble! We run several weekly cross-school groups: Wednesdays @ Thomas Hardye School 4-4:50pm Bandemonium (for wind/brass players grade 0-2), Stringalings (for violinists/cellists grade 0-2) 5-5:50pm Dorchester Children's Orchestra (for all orchestral instruments from approx. grade 2+) Thursdays @ Prince of Wales School 3:45 - 4:30pm Skylarks Children's Choir for children from years 2-4. For children who enjoy singing and would like to gain experience of singing a wide range of songs in harmony. Fridays @ Thomas Hardye School 4 - 4:50pm Nightingales Choir for children from years 5-8. For more advanced singers who enjoy singing in harmony. Ensembles cost £38 per term, but you are welcome to try a session for free without committing. The Extra Curricular Sports Clubs list for this first Autumn term is now live and all will commence from this Monday, 9th September. All start immediately as school ends and pick up is 4.30pm As you can appreciate, there will be plenty of emails so unless you hear from me saying there is not any space, please assume your child is on the club register (limited numbers sometimes may apply), although we always try our very best to accommodate all pupils - Mrs G To sign your child up, please email clubs@stmaryscemiddle.uk and not via the office emailmany thanks!
