Sports Premium
The UK Government website gives access to the Government website with information on how much PE and sport premium funding schools receive and advice on how it should be spent.
The primary PE and sport premium was introduced in March 2013 to improve the provision of physical education and school sport in primary schools across England.
Sports Premium funding is allocated directly to schools and is ring-fenced. This means it may only be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport in schools.
We place huge importance on the value of sport and physical activity at St Mary's. Physical education has numerous benefits for children’s health, as well as their mental wellbeing.
